Quick update.
Road from franz joesph to the fox glacier yesterday. Feeling better, though still not so hot. Three saddles between towns, each with about 200 m change in elevation between them! Fun. (Although my lungs disagreed.)
Met up with Paul again yesterday!
Raining cats and dogs today, hitching a ride with a german to Haast (or beyond?)
Went on a hike to a lookout for the Fox glacier yesterday. The walk went through some incredible rain forests.
I'm going to be leaving this amazing country soon, it makes me a bit sad. I want to come back again some day and do this again, and spend more time in the south island.
I'll be heading back to Ottawa around the 2nd of April, maybe I'll see some of you then?
