(no subject)
So I'm in Kaitaia right now, just about to start heading towards the tip o' NZ, Cape Reinga.
So far I've seen some crazy big Kauri trees, some mountainous sand dunes, camped in the woods and on a mountain, took a ferry and biked about 251 km. The hills are comparable to the big ones in Tasmania.
Yesterday I biked to the begining of the 90 mile beach road thinking I might be able to ride it. People literally drive up the beach though, there's no way I could ride it. :P
Hoping for a tail wind today, I think I'll get it (tomorrow will suck though, as I'll be back tracking.) :)
