Moving
I will be moving back home to NJ near the end of May, which means I need to start planning now. When I moved out here, I shipped a bunch of boxed via a company called Freight & Crate, but they screwed me by jacking up the price at the last minute and then messing up a bunch of the boxes (luckily nothing broke). I then drove myself across the country for 3 days.
Ideally, I would prefer not to have to do that 3 day drive again, but it will all come down to price. I'm hoping that some of my LJ friends have dealt with moving before and could maybe recommend good and/or affordable companies that I could look into for:
- Shipping my car
- Shipping my stuff (think roughly a studio apt. amount of boxes, no furniture)
- Shipping my cat (if I'm not driving, I'll need to get him home somehow)
