Graduated Again!!

Well I graduated college for a 2nd time and I have been home for about a month...A lot has happened in a month so I hope I remeber most of it...

Ever since I got home they have been driving me nutty...I guess that just comes from not living here for 10yrs.--making up for lost time I guess--and taking care of things--fun stuff...Here's a good Bob Murphy story...Bobby is lawn care happy--he has to have a green lawn, constantly watering and mowing, the man is 61 and is cutting 2 lawns which might I add are not small..we are on over sized city lots, it takes him about 1-1 1/2 hours to cut just one lawn-he swears the whole time hes out there but it keeps him occupied. So one day he's out front cutting the grass, he stops to empty the bag and walks to the back into the garage for a minute...mean while the garbageman goes by...my dad comes in the house and asks me where the mower bag is....I havent a clue I just woke up...about 10 minutes later he comes in the house again and says, " I think the god damn garbageman took my mower bag!" followed my many curse words...I just started to bust out laughing...good times, good times...so its been about 2 weeks and he still hasnt gotten all the parts for his new bag, that in itslf is a whole other story. Barb, now she just aggrevates me, she means well but ahhhhhhH!! Thats mom for ya. She says I have become lazy, well the way I see it is that I have been going now stop since '97 between school and working without a vacation and I finally get some much needed time to just as George from Seinfield said before teh SUmmer of George, time to Decompress :-)

So I started my job hunting back when I was still in school and here it is mid June and I finally got a job. I'm working at FedEx unloading planes and trucks-nites 2am til 6am-today will be day 2, havent done any work yet, just paperwork, so I dont know what to tell yeah about it yet...In additon to that I have a conditional job offer with United AIrlines throwing bags--conditional meaning I need to pass a background check and a lifting test and I start that in July--both are part time and out at O'Hare, Im paid for 17.5 hours at FedEx no matter what, so if I work 15 hours I get paid for 17.5, thats kinda nice...but on top of that I also applied to Southwest for a fulltime job which would be better since its closer to home at Midway--all 3 have flight benefits so I'm looking forward to that--I need to check some places out for when I get my real job as a Controller..haahha

I play 16in softball every friday nite which is a lot of fun--for awhile that has been my only reason to leave the house...For those non-chicago folks that are reading this Chicago softball is played with a 16 inch softball with no gloves, its a lot of fun a bit of a challenge and a good place to take out some aggression. My team is great..I think we are known as the team with the baby. Traci brings little Ryan to every game with a play pen for her..she usually just sits there and plays or sleeps, hasnt cried once at a game...Last friday we had a practice since everyone had a bye and I had a little accident...Its normal to jam fingers while playing 16in, its part of the game...well Bud, Traci's brother threw a ball at me so hard that..you know how yor middle finger is a little bigger then your ring finger...well when that ball hit my finger it made my middle finger the same legnth as my ring finger--Ouch! and the only way to fix a jam is pull it out and now my middle finger curves towrads my ring finger--thats why I think I broke it....oh well..and Apparantly Cara and Cate play on another team in my league so maybe I will finally meet them--if they ever decide to play..hahaha

I thouth I have more to write about..I do but my make shift computer area is making my back ache--blah

I picked morose cause I wanted to see what the little symbol looked like for it
