I mentioned before how I wrote a couple e-mails to the Res Life Manager. well I showed neighbor Kelly and said that they were pretty good so I thought I would share them you who ever reads this...let me know what you think
My first e-mail to the RLM (the ending kinda sucks 'cause I was in a rush):
Subject: In regards to your letter and meeting with Grant Brusky
I would like to respond to the letter I recieved to April 5th from you about
your meeting with Grant Brusky. First of all, by having a meeting only with
Grant and taking his word on anything and everything that happens in the
apartment I believe to be wrong. Grant is inconsiderate, rude, disrespectful and
a complusive liar. As to the comment about him paying his cell phone bill and
being able to speak when he wishes--I pay the bill for this apartment and out of
state tution--I'm not paying to listen to someone speak on the phone all nite
every nite about nonsense issues to his girlfriend til 2-3am. I have early
class and work in the morning--Asking him to respect his other roommates and not
be on the phone between midnight and 7 am, I thought, was not asking to
much--Its called respect. And the comments on the old contract were not
complaints but agreable terms to live peacefully. However since it is now
voided, whats the point. There is no point in filling out another contract
seeing that it holds no weight when its obvious that 2 people have a problem
with the 3rd and the 3rd roommate has one meeting to avoid a consquence when he
knows he is wrong. We tried talking to him to respect our space and it didnt
work, we filled out a roommate contract and worked for a bit then it got thrown
out--Are you telling the system doenst work?
Ryan
Her response:
Mr. Murphy~
If you would like to speak with me regarding this issue, I have plenty of time to meet with you this week.
Sarah Casares
Residential Life Manager
My response to her e-mail:
Ms. Casares,
Thank you for the offer to meet with you, however I do not see what will be
gained from meeting with you since you already made your decision to void the
roommate contract without referring to or discussing it with the other
residents in the apartment before that final decision came to life.
Mr. Ryan Murphy
I havent heard anything back...
I also thought about sharing some Insight into the man, the myth, the leagend they call Murph only because I know many different groups of people who I think all have a different image or thoughts on me-- I know I am a mystery to most and many people wonder what is going on in my head but you'll find out that there really is not much to me...at least I dont think so...we'll see when I write it..ahaha--when I get some free time that is or trying to avoid homework
