The same shizzle, Im poor, my grades suck, so I bounced a check the other day. Same old, same old. For once in my life I want to be able to buy Christmas presents for people that my mother didnt pay for. No scratch off-tickets, no christmas cards with nice little messages inside. I wanna buy things like real people do, not fake people like myself. I think this year Im gonna give everyone volunteer hours I participated in for them. Ill be like" here's a certificate for the amount of work I put in at a children's shelter iny our anme. That'll be kool. Hahaha, i think i just pissed my pants laughing at myself.
So I got a dvd of all of our dances but there are a few things that suck about it. There are 5 performances, four of which are the same dance and one from our skit night "production" which I watched three times and now skips to the point of no return. So basicallly you'd be watching the same boring dance over and over, which kind of bothers me cause i mess up in each one and the skit night one is my favorite because clearly i dont mess up and im kind of a big deal in it. Anyways, now you guys can kinda see what Rukus is... when I come home, which I still dont know when. I think Sunday.
Can we please talk about how much I NEED a car? I have been ofered many internships dowtown for legal researcha nd can't even do anything about it because of my transportation problems. Then people tell me to take the bus. Im not that desperate honestly. I just want this little thing called the Dodge Ram 1500 that my mom hates so much thats in our driveway right now. Then she can get a new one, like shes wanted to for the past two years. I just dont understand... it works out so well. Especially with my grades being so amazing. What better time of year to spread holiday cheer!?!?
So, I've kind of narrowed my preferences of law down to a few. Ok maybe a lot. These are the ones of interest to me: Immigration Law, lobbying law, housing and urban development law, nonprofit organization law, probate law, entertainment law, resorts and casino law, real estate law, and international law. Honestly, some of these I chose because the names just appeal to me. Obvioussly resorts and casino law sounds like fun, but if you think about it, it probably appeals to almost 94% of all law students. And I could never see anyone having that much business in nonprofit organization law, but thats why I have been staying home and looking into them, because you really never know what each one entails. I have so much more to look into like LSAT, Prep courses, forums, applications, studying abroad programs, internships, etc. The week of research will be worth it though.
Plus, I have so much Dance Marathon stuff to do. I have to set up a door money night at the Library, and a partial proceeds night at Uno's Pizzaria. Im helping Liz make up the morale dance. I have to get everyone yo sign up before January 1st so they can get a cheaper registration fee. There are just a lot of thigns going on, which is kind of crazy because its supposed to be Christmas vacation.
ALso, our applications for chair positions in Sigma Chi are due on January 7th, which gives me plenty of time to work on it. But Ive also set up a lot of planning stuff for that, And its gonna be very difficult to set up Derby Days and partake in being a moraler for Dance Marathon.
My semester next year is going to no doubt be the most difficult semester I have had at UCF. My class schedule is going to be very awkward. There are like no classes left and I still haven't registered because I have 250.00 in parking tickets as holds and a few library fines. But here is my possible schedule:
Monday:
Entertainment Law
1:30-2:45
Tuesday:
Property and Real Estate Law
10:30-11:45
Advanced Expository Writing
12:00-1:15
Wednesday:
Entertainment Law
1:30-2:45
Estates and Trusts
6:00-8:50
Thursday:
Property and Real Estate Law
10:30-11:45
Advanced Expository Writing
12:00-1:15
Add to this:
Rukus- Tues Wed and Thurs from 9:30-12:00
Sigma Chi- Sunday @ 7
Working- every meal I dont have a class
Phi Alpha Delta- Wednesday chapter at 7
Dance Marathon- 24/7 doing shizzle
Derby Days planning- doin alot
Bottom Line: Its gonna be a tough semester, but Im used to it. Its pretty much how it starts every semester.
Anywho, Ive got a lot to do but I will be seeing you all soon. Happy Holidays!
