I really have no idea. . . I'm usually at home, weekdays. Most of my friends are at home, as well. Those that aren't at home are at any number of the expat joints, here in town. They all have one thing in common: Shitty Beer. Lots of luck. I'd try checking out Ximen and Tai Da's campus.

keep your eyes peeled for flyers.

Best of luck.

In other words, you're all set to fuck shit up!

Just go out and run around, man!

Jesus!

You're in fucking Taipei! Go out and LOOK for trouble!

There ain't any. . .

There's this one place. . . one Godawful place behind the Ikea on Nanjing and Dunhua Fucking keyboardist backing a vocalist. Jazzy covers of Rod Stewart, for fuck's sake. Anyway, they were stocking Cubans, the last time I checked. They brew their own beer. It's the only 'micro" I've seen here. You'd think it would be halfway decent. No. They managed to let the "imported beer" taste in. How the fuck do you make a freshly brewed beer taste like it's been bottled, shipped, and stowed. Jesus. It only goes to show that after eighty years or so, monopolized beer has ruined the Taiwanese Taste for Beer. The Taiwanese Taste for Beer. . . You know what? You can actually go right to the source. You can go right down to Civic and Dunhua and check out the "Taiwan Beer Factory." The main brewery for Taiwan Beer. The Official Beer of The KMonopolyT. Hell, yeah! The Taiwanese didn't have another legal beer until the eighties, for Christ's sake. Hah! To tell the truth, if I'm drinking beer, it's usually that (or that Michelob Dark all the 24-7 ( ... )
