CRASH.................Ah.........OOPS!
Well, today was eventfull.....and expensive.
We bin in a deep freeze here in the Great White North and it's bin snowing on and off everyday since Saturday. They haven't plowed the roads in town here, just on the main roadways. I love winter and I love snow. I've always gotten a demented thrill outta driving in treacherous road conditions and weather but today I oopsed! On the way to work I was driving down a heavely iced road. I was only doing 40km (25mph) and had a real bad feeling I was about to crash. I did. Seconds later. I went for a scate across the road smashed into a curb and launched the car up ontop of a snow bank. WHEEEEEEEE......! Ah...NO!
To make a long story short...$500 later in damage repairs and few hours of freezing my ass off, I was on the road again. Needless to say, the zero tolerance for being late at work kinda didn't happen today. Oops!
All in all...I suppose it coulda bin worse. No-one got hurt cept my poor little car and my wallet.
The drive in and on the way home was just as scary. Accidents and road closures due to accidents everywhere.
