July 15: D-Funk Allstars(wooo)vs. The Pistol Whippers (booohisss)tickets are on sale NOW. You can get them online at www.startickets.com, from Meijer, or service charge free ($15) from Danny's Irish Pub in Ferndale and Northern Lights Lounge in Detroit. If you want to go through less trouble (or more depending on how you look at it) you can just put 15 bucks in my hand and I'll get a ticket for ya on monday or wednesday. I cant just buy you a ticket and hope you pay me back though because i've had a death in the family...
my skates BROKE at tastefest and are probably ready to be six feet under. This may sound minor, but if any of you skateboard you know that when your equipment breaks yer in fuck city. Quad skates are like little skateboards and are very personal to your skating style, but most importantly EXPENSIVE. Not to mention finding a vegan boot is damn near impossible. I'm working on finding replacements, but money is..well not even tight..more like not even there. So if you want tickets I need the cash up front, baby dolls.
It would mean the effin world to me if anyone at all decided to show up, but if you can't I understand. It's 15 bucks! that's a lot! I wont be heartbroken if you cant make it. I havent been able to make it to anyones stuff in a long time..so seriously..no pressure.
Thanks to everyone who showed up to taste fest! it was hot..the girls were broken and tired, but every time we saw people getting excited it became worth it. So thanks again.
On a more personal note..
sorry I havent really been around. I havent seen or even spoken to anyone in probably months. I've turned into a real shitty friend and i'm sorry. I'd make some excuses, but none are really worth bringing up.
