It was painful to reflect on in the end. How well Desaad understood to break through her barriers. How to tempt her. He doesn't have to hold her captive to continue to exploit her weaknesses.

Clark's confession that he'll be anything she needs him to be was such a beautiful and touching line though. I can believe why she crumbled. It's the one thing she always longed to hear.
