This yard sale stuff is hard. I really wish I weren't so strongly attached to my stuff. I count myself lucky that I don't often get urges to go out and buy the latest, greatest whatever. But the stuff I do have, well, it's mine, and some part of me really, really wants to keep it that way. All sorts of separation anxiety from my stuff, even if it's stuff that I haven't touched in years.

I just sold my Casio SK-1 sampling keyboard for $10. It's been in the basement, untouched, for years. But when I opened the box yesterday, I just wanted to plug it in and play. Silly, but that's me. Oh well, gone now. Along with my old bicycle that I bought back in Ithaca. Gone. A whole lot more stuff remains, but of course the goal is to sell/give as much as possible by the end of the day. Then grieve for a while on the loss of my stuff.
