Last night my best friend took too many prescription drugs and was close to heart attack. Now she's stable, but just imagining she could die last night make my hands shaking..
Today a couple of total strangers in the elevator of Kaiser's gynecologyc department told me they are expecting twins and it made me greening my heart out for the next couple of blocks I was passing on my way home.
Very often we don't realize how fragile we humans are, how easy it is to die or get sick. At the same time no mater how much we try to avoid pregnancy, the new life is so strong it overcomes all the odds.
