The Decline of St. Louis Civilization and Gaming

I've noticed some unfortunate declines in St. Louis recently. The biggest one was the closing of Taquiera Chihuahua. The taquiera was a great place. Good food.

You went in, and if you ordered your drink like a gringo, they would bring it out to you. And then go next door to get someone who spoke English to take the rest of your order. Alternatively, if it was after school, the owners' little daughter came out and did it. The food was outstanding. Really, really good, authentic Mexican food. Nopales (cactus) salad, ceviche, even al pastore and tripitas (tripe tacos). Great prices too. Last time I drove by it looked like it had a rental sign in the window, so I have to assume that it's gone.

There was something else I was going to put here, but now I can't remember what it is, which I suppose indicates exactly how important it is to me.

On to the gaming. I bought a new video card. I bought World of Warcraft. I now pay a monthly fee to game, and I'm fine with that. This is actually the first new game in years that I've played. New content seems to be added on a fairly regular basis, and I have enough friends playing the game to always have someone to interact with. Seems to be fun so far, we shall see how it goes.
