Oh, the guilt, the guilt...
I have not updated this blog in nearly a month. (Actually, it might be over a month, now; I haven't gone back and checked the date of my last post.)
Please accept my abject apologies for my lack of anything substantial, or even amusing, to say at present. This past month has been crowded with singing, speaking, writing and family commitments, and I feel like I've been fighting to keep my head above water. I'm in good enough spirits, I hasten to add: just... preoccupied.
Maybe I should just hang a sign on this blog reading BISY. BACKSON. and have done with it. But then, there's always the chance that some interesting and non-trivial thought will strike me in the next little while and I'll just have to write it down. One can always hope.
Of course, those of you who get this blog delivered as an RSS feed on LiveJournal are thinking, "Huh? I'd forgotten I subscribed to that blog of hers... gee, what a useless post." Just bear with me, guys, OK? :)
