THEY NAME-CHECKED RAMSEY LAKE. IN SUDBURY.
(Only they got it slightly wrong and called it "Lake Ramsey", but since the guy saying it wasn't local, it's a reasonable mistake.)
I am in awe. I actually had to pause the episode and spend a few seconds babbling and pointing at the screen while my husband nodded and smiled tolerantly.
Also, Christopher Eccleston with an American accent is how weird?
Hiro = so much love. Always. But Ando has really grown on me too.
Ali Larter = beyond awesome actress, ping-ponging between Niki and Jessica like that and making it absolutely clear each time, with no change in clothing, makeup or scene, who was who.
Claire is so preety, for reals. I liked her shirt with the frilly bottom. Also, while Zach is reputedly no longer gay (or rather, reputedly was never gay, which even I do not buy, but whatever), TPTB are TOTALLY FEEDING THE INSANE FANS with the Petrelli brothers and the lingering cheek-kiss in profile. Like, that was so over the top even I noticed. THIS MUST STOP AT ONCE.
Wow, Simone suddenly got a personality! What are the odds?
Have I mentioned my evil theory that Claire's mom actually knows everything and, like Claire, is just pretending she doesn't remember stuff so they won't wipe her again? It would be so very, very amusing if it turned out that Mrs. Bennet had some kind of super-secret agenda of her own.
And am I the only one expecting that Matt's attempt to prove his powers to Mrs. Matt by reading her mind is going to be thwarted by the Haitian lurking in the bushes just outside his window? I hope I'm wrong about that. Goodness knows this show proves me wrong on a regular basis, so anything's possible.
Ramsey Lake. Dude. Between that reference and
this and my own plans to use a close facsimile of the city in my own SF novel, it's like Sudbury is the new SF black.
Also, I have no HEROES icons. Why is this? *goes looking*
