Oh my goodness! Congratulations! Glad to hear the whole queasiness isn't as bad as with your first two. Speaking of which, how did they take the news?

And guinea pigs? How are they as pets? I'm interested in getting some little critter until we get a bigger place and can get a dog and/or cats.

You can read my just-posted blog entry for more details, but the short version is -- I like them. Of course, I don't have to clean their cage, so it's easy for me to say, but it seems like a fairly simple task. They are certainly pettable (if you can catch them), they make cute sounds, and they don't bite. As small animals go, they're probably a pretty decent bet.
