roooooooom maaaaaaaaaaaates!!
I'm trying to keep up again on LJ, I swear I am!! Maybe catch-up time tomorrow since I'm off....or tonight after work since Nick is working til close and I'll be by myself!! Boooo.
Marcus's last day at work is Saturday. And he told Nick that he would be leaving to go back to Florida by Monday. I'm so glad that he tells ME some of this shit. Like, I'm only the person that let him live with me for almost five months!! Duh. It's going to be so weird not having him here living with us anymore. It's definitely going to be quieter, AND cleaner. And I love that kid, I really do, but I can't wait for it to just be me and Nick again. Once Marcus has moved out, I'm going to do a top to bottom clean of the apartment, which I haven't done in forever. Then we're going to fumigate the second bedroom so it doesn't smell like weed and Marcus's socks anymore. I just bought a shitload of marked down candles at work yesterday to help with this. Mum is taking me to Goodwill this weekend to look for a tv stand of some sort so that we can move Nick's tv into the bedroom along with the Xbox. (I also wanna look for dining room chairs but that's not relevant LOL) Then we'll get the tv and Xbox moved into the other room, maybe move the futon around, get the living room/dining room back the way it's supposed to be, and anything else that needs to be done.
It will be nice not to have to worry about the place being so messy anymore. Marcus is so messy!! I mean, I guess he's just an average 19 year old boy, but still. It's like, I don't even FEEL like cleaning cos it doesn't do any good around the apartment. And I swear to all of you, I am the only one that knows how to do dishes! No one else EVER does them. Grrrr. The only bad part though? It's Marcus's job to take out the trash, so now we'll have to do that. And that's a bitch cos the dumpster is all the way down a hill at the opposite side of the complex!
The good thing about the little arguments that Nick and I get into? They're never about anything important! It always starts cos one of us gets irritated over some stupid small thing and says something a bit harsh and the other person takes offense to it. That's it. We don't argue about money, jobs, big issues, nothing like that at all! So I guess that makes us a pretty good couple. Nick is always saying that we're meant for each other.
Work in 40 minutes. Must go get ready now!
