walkathon around manila
yesterday was really tiring yet i had a lot of fun!
right now im enjoying my new hobby...photography! i got accepted in our literary folio photo section, malate, and i have been enjoying it very much. i never knew that photography was so technical but im really enjoying it! :) although my mom doesnt approve of my new found hobby (she says its too expensive), i think im going to continue it..if i have time. sana lang id get to have my own SLR camera para hindi ako nanghihiram sa iba.
anyway, yesterday we had a photo trip around manila. well actually, sa intramuros at chinese cemetery lng. i got to tour manila (well not the whole of it, at least a part) by foot! from lasalle, we took a jeep to the post office, then another jeep to intramuros. hahaha! first time to ride a jeep (yung commute talaga)! haha! experience! from there, we walked around intramuros looking for san agustin church. while walking, we saw these tarpolines all over one street and it was "advertising" some couple's marriage. it showed the couple's picture and they had a different picture for each tarpoline. and one picture showed them wearing white shirts with the word "bride" for the girl and "groom" for the guy. i just found it kinda, well actually very funny. sama! hahaha!
anyway, we found san agustin church few blocks away from manila cathedral. when we walked inside, i immediately saw the red and yellow curtains and backdrops inside. i felt i was back in CSA. parang my awarding sa CSA eh. tolle lege, coat of arms, colors, pictures of st. augustine...all there. it made me want to visit my highschool. memories...
i was able to take a lot of pictures in my very trusty instamatic camera. thanks to bong, i was able to use her DSLR camera and began taking more pictures. gusto ko talaga ng SLR camera!!!
chinese cemetery, well, we werent able to take a lot of pictures there because guards were on our trails. they thought we had video cameras with us...some of us pretended to be talking in chinese. hahaha!!! chris, bong and i had our own game plan since we didn't know the language...somai, siopao and SUSHI!!! hahaha! :p stupid guards!!! we had to run (not actually run, but we had to walk really fast) because the guards were getting closer...dumadami pa sila! hahaha!!! tawa na lang kami ng tawa! grabe experience talaga.
