Did a whole lot of photosnapping for Digital Image Manipulation and Type class in the last couple of weeks. First at Shelby Farms and then at the Memphis Zoo. I'll post those zoo pics a million years from now probably never eventually.
Lotuses growing in a boggy little area along one of the park's walking trails. Very pretty.
The lotuses had lovely pale yellow flowers. I had to trudge waist deep into itchy brush to get this shot.
There's "handicap friendly" trails off the main walking routes in the park. Either people take measures to make it look like they don't use the trails or they just flat out don't use them because it gets really overgrown, dark as fuck, and scary the further along you go. :[
Completely unrelated to the other three images and old (last year during the fall). Somewhere between tiny unremarkable towns on the western side of Arkansas. We were leaving Fort Smith to head to Mt. Magazine State Park. Lovely scenery out there.
I also photoshop'd a big radio tower off the top of that hill because it completely ruined the charm of the image.
