"Fair enough," Axel conceded to Kadaj's answer. The judges seemed stuffy enough to actually be that way. Narrow minded old farts. "Known each other before is damn more accurate," Axel replied dryly. "Sucks is an understatement. See, Ku-gaki here never grew up."
Axel would've recognized that husky voice anywhere- toilets and baths being some of them, he thought wryly. He looked up towards the source, a lopsided smile twisting a corner of his lips up. "Course not, Hiru-hi, just taking care of unpleasant business." He finished prying Kuja's hand away and down, releasing it none the worse, if a little chafed. The nail was mostly ignored. Kuja had his powergames, after all, but he shot the other a small, bemused smirk "Kitty needs a scratching post, Ku-gaki~? Just can't keep your hands off of me." He knew full well that the other had issues with personal space. Why he'd even decided to pull at his hair, Axel had no idea.
He turned his attention back to more pleasant things- namely, Hiruma. "'sides, everyone knows you don't pick fights with girls. Not 'less you're bald, anyway." He grinned and tilted his head at Hiruma. "You just gonna stay over there or have you come to join the party~?"
Axel had a feeling things might get a hell lot more interesting with Hiruma around. Having him wet and mostly naked (and preferably within arm's reach) would just be a welcome bonus
