Location:: An underground club called 'Corona'
Rating:: PG-13 (again, it's Kanda...)
Summary:: Kanda goes out to indulge in live music for the first time since being dragged out by his coworkers, and runs into a girl who had been at the bar that night as well.
It had been a long time since he'd willingly indulged in music. The last time he had been to a club had been when his coworkers had dragged him out. They'd even made him wear ridiculous clothing. He had to admit he liked the pants, they were comfortable, but the rest of the outfit had been far too showy for his taste. He wore those same pants now, though instead of the midriff baring shirt he wore one of his usual white button down shirts with the top button left open, a loose tie around his neck and, of course, his signature black and white trench coat.
He hadn't had much time to indulge lately, aside from at the apartment, but live music was different. A recording was all well and good, but there was an energy in live music that didn't come across in a studio recording. He had no work the following day and no class until mid afternoon. It was the perfect opportunity, and probably the only one for a good while. Lavi had opted to stay home, though that didn't bother him. He could go out alone, and often did long before anything had happened with Lavi.
Now he sat near the back of the small bar nursing a glass of Scotch, the table located conveniently in a dark corner where he could watch what was happening but go relatively unnoticed. If anyone did happened to notice he gave them a warning growl and they fled quickly. The music wasn't quite to his taste but he stayed anyway, glad to be out of the apartment for at least a short while.
