Summary:: Nuriko has a party to celebrate his birthday with authentic Chinese food and yummy chocolate cake!
He took one last look around the loft, smiling to himself. He'd done a fabulous job of decorating in the short time he'd had before the guests arrived. The afternoon shoot had run late, again, but he'd managed to make the place look immaculate in less than half an hour, and then he'd started cooking. He wanted everything to be fresh for the guests. Reheated food was just not an option! At least, not tonight.
Li had said he would bring some more produce, and C.C said she would bring pizza. Maybe some others would bring food as well. Of course, la pièce de résistance was in the fridge. A German chocolate mousse cake with shaved dark chocolate on top! Mmm. He couldn't wait to dig into that!
He liked the openness of the loft. He could cook in the kitchen - which was along part of the wall just inside the door, a long counter set parallel to the wall with plenty of space for cutting and preparing food - while people mingled in the large living area. It was a perfect place for parties! He checked the food in the oven and set the timer, sitting down to read until the guests arrived, which should be any minute.
