Mori paid no heed to Luke. He was childish and loud, and he didn't like it. Granted Mitsukuni had his moments... but he was much different in his childish behavior. Luke was just rude and didn't seem to care if he was. Having turned to listen to Guy, and finding the color to his cheeks kind of cute, his head then turned at Kaoru's words. The look he gave him was nothing but a bored glance, but he was sure Kaoru understood that if Mori actually showed emotion more often the other would be getting quite the glare then.
"Mm, he is the missing the child." Mori spoke, looking down at his cousin between his legs on the floor. He'd recognized him right away. But he'd seen that things had been resolved on television so it wasn't worth crying wolf over. The redhead seemed like trouble, but then of course didn't all redheads mean trouble?
Guy only felt his face turn brighter at Kaoru's words. The twins had been teasing him mercilessly over it since it had happened. Why did Kaoru have to bring it up now? With Mori right here? It was like they were all ganging up on him, trying to make him blush and stutter as much as they could around the taller dark haired man.
"I doubt that is needed Kaoru." Guy said, managing to keep the stutter from his voice. The color didn't leave his cheeks so easily this time.
"Sorry Luke, this happened before you got here." Guy said looking to his friend, who looked annoyed. Luke must be ready to chase everyone out by now. He was being fairly good considering.
"Ah yeah... Luke skipped off to see me without letting his parents know. It's all better now. He'll be staying with me for sometime, until I can work out something with his parents again." he explained.
It was tempting to yank on the tongue presented to him, Kaoru was in cahoots with Mitsukuni is seemed. The brat. What did the redheaded twin find so cute? Glancing to Guy, who was still blushing, Mori had to admit... he was cute like that. It wasn't like Mori didn't understand the concept of cute either. He did live with Mitsukuni after all. His cousin was the epitome of cute. Or he had been back in his Host Club days. Not that girls, and men, didn't find him to be sickeningly adorable.
Giving a hard look at Luke, who was being a brat, even more so than he'd ever seen the Hitachiin twins be, Mori wanted to tell him to be quiet. So he'd had some hard times. Everyone had. It didn't give him the right to behave in such a way. Beside him, Guy looked uncomfortable, as if he didn't know whether to butt in or not and tell Luke to calm down. The blonde shouldn't have to act like a parent to his 'best friend'.
CUTE? Guy couldn't believe this. He was sure he was turning another deeper shade of red now, and he sunk into the couch, hoping he could just blend in... or it would swallow him up. What was so cute about all of it? It wasn't like he... liked... Mori
( ... )
Mori had just about had enough of Luke's behavior, luckily for the redhead he left the living room. Otherwise Mori would have had to have had one of his talkative moments and set him straight. Glancing to Guy, who was rather close to him now, he nodded. It still wasn't an excuse to be such a brat.
"You are a good friend, to put up with him." Mori said, a hand moving to pat Guy's knee.
"Luke..." Guy sighed heavily, when he stormed into the kitchen. He hoped it wouldn't be this way every time people were over. Looking over to Kaoru apologetically, he then glanced down at Honey. No, Luke wasn't having a bad day, he was always like this.
"... I wouldn't say a bad day... he's just very clingy. He's gone all his life having my attention when ever he wanted it... this is new to him." he explained, "I've been his only friend all his life so... other people like you guys, well he sees you as a threat I guess." he blushed then, feeling Mori's hand on his knee, and his words. It was strange to hear him talk, at least this much. Mori had a nice deep voice... it was a shame he didn't talk more.
"Th-Thanks... though I don't really 'put up' with him. He's my best friend." Guy smiled, "I just have to show him that having other friends isn't a bad thing."
Mori merely shrugged, not agreeing or disagreeing. It wouldn't be bad to hang out with Guy again, though not so much Luke. He'd rather not listen to him being a brat and huffing and puffing about others being around. Though... he guess he understood, from what Guy had told them.
"I'd really like that." Guy smiled, looking to Honey, then Mori. He smiled a bit wider at the dark haired man, then noticing he'd drank all his juice while they'd been talking.
"Oh, would you like more? Or would you or Honey like something to snack on?" he asked, moving to stand.
