Summary::Fai gets the early shift today, not entirely pleased because the stage wouldn't be open to the performers for a few hours, there are few costumers and so little to entertain himself. That is until Allen and Lavi come along~
Fai squinted his eyes against the glare of the afternoon sun, already sweltering in his black pants and vest. Using his hand to shade his eyes, he allowed his eyes take in the towering buildings and the car congested streete, the inside of every vehicle filled with tired workers on their way home. So the constant sound of horns bellowing was to be expected. The smell of car fumes was almost overwhelming. Fai closed his eyes for a moment, then turned around to head back inside the Cat's Eye. The spiraling staircase lead him down to the dimness of the bar itself. On one end of the bar was his "home plate", where he made killer drinks that could knock the hardiest man out. It was particuarly special to him because it directly faced the now closed black curtain which concealed the stage until around midnight. That was when the music was reborn again.
Fai slipped behind the counter and observed that there was maybe only two people in the bar besides him. Neither of them apparently interested in a drink. Fai sighed and sat down on a stool, finding small entertainment in nibbling on a cherry from one of the containers in the mini-fridge.
