Thoughts stung through her mind like an angry swarm when he had responded to her question in the form of a question. Pulling her head back a bit, eyes giving him a curious, almost scared, glance at the whispered question that needed an answer itself, which she choose to respond to with a small shake of her head, the blond hair splashing against her cheeks. “Lancer….” She turned her head slowly, she paused, biting her tongue, the words that had needed to spill from her lips for a few months now, she decided to push to the back of her mind and force them silent, and placed quickly, “I don’t know.”

“I cannot give you an honest reply now. I do not want to tell you something false, but I will tell you this; you are a dear friend to me. I do not want to ruin a relationship between you and I. Give me time to think things over, I mean, you only just arrived and you already ask me a difficult question.” Turning her gaze up at him again, trying to give him the best of a warm smile that she could, lifting a hand to his cheek softly pushing back one of the blue strands of hair from his eyes, “Give me time.” Pulling away her hand and cast away her eyes.

Pulling in a deep breath and than letting it go she than said, “Would you like to get some lunch? I will pay for it all, my treat.”

Trotting behind him, in order to catch up, she couldn’t help but chuckle softly at his stammering and his reaction to her response. Hopefully, he would try not to rush her anymore, seeing as she was still trying to get things straight with her feelings for Gilgamesh, now adding Lancer into the mix would make it that much harder on her. Catching up to him, her arm winding about his, walking with her arm linked with his.

“No! Please, I insist Lancer, let me pay for it! It will make me feel better.”

Glancing up at him from the corner of her eye think about what Gilgamesh would think of Lancer. Tilting her head to the side and than snorting to herself knowing that he would disapprove of him, seeing as he did not approve of any more or less of the time. “Mmmm, yes! You will get to know him very well. Gilgamesh is one of my best friends. We’ve always been together, ever sense we were children…” her eyes became slowly softer as she spoke about Gilgamesh and her eyes becoming warmer in the process, “

Grinning in pride from the victory that she had over the small tid bit argument they had over who would pay the bill. Not even realizing that she let her face change as she spoke, her cheeks tinged a bright pink as he pointed it out to her that her face had changed completely. “Eh?! W…What?!” Jerking her head up in his direction, eyes growing larger at his observation.

Putting a hand over her cheek, trying to hide the coloration change and than she smiled softly and chuckled. “Yes, I guess you can say that we are rather close.” Shrugging her shoulders lightly; turning out of the part and in the direction of a small restaurant.

Balling her hand up into tiny, pale fists her teeth gritted together as she silently fumed at his noticing of her reaction toward Gilgamesh. She had let her flustered emotions pour through without checking herself before speaking. Catching the almost devil like grin and the wink when he spoke, she blushed a bright pink and gulped a bit being taken a back. “Yes, we are in good terms with on another. Nothing physical or anything of that sort! W-We’re just…” she paused for a moment, “ just friends.” she finished

Turing the corner, and stopping at the street and looking both ways before she crossed ahead of Lancer, waiting for him on the opposite side of the street outside of a small, bustling café. “This is a good place to eat for lunch. They serve small things, like soups and sandwiches. Hope you don’t mind…”
