Oh well. It was quite obvious he wouldn't expose his secrets, but the name of Duel Monsters caught her attention. She'd never heard of it before, but at least he heard her about card games. Didn't this guy play solitare or anything? This sounded...weird. "Never heard of that," she explained, "but we played a game called Triple Triad. It was more a number game than anything, though. People bet for silly things like money or credits."
And then, out of nowhere, she had this magnificent idea. He seemed so keen on teaching her the game, and looked so bored at his post, that she decided that she'd take him out for a while. They could trade hobbies for a while, like a good friend would. And he certainly did look like a good friend. "So, here's a deal. I'll totally buy a deck, and you can teach me all about it! But, in return, you have to go dancing."
Now didn't that sound fun?
ooc;; you know tango dancing featuring atem and selphie will be absolutely amazing, don't deny it~~ ;D

He was a little confused at what she was doing in a Duel Monsters game shop if she had no idea what it was. Though he supposed he shouldn't be so surprised; Yugi had told him before about many people just wandering in off the street in search of new hobbies or ways to kill time. Atem smiled that polite, gentlemanly smile he was so accustomed to giving as he nodded as Selphie spoke again. Triple Triad didn't sound familiar, but he was willing to bet that he was just as easy to learn as any other game he could play.
She suddenly perked up, as if some fabulous idea had come to her, which Yami noted with an amused quirk of his brow. It took him but a second to translate the words correctly in his head and blinked quickly. The foreigner went on sudden alert; how did she know he danced? And more importantly, how could she ask someone she had just met something like that so fast!? It took all the self control Atem had to force himself to stand perfectly still and not gawk at Selphie as if she was crazy.
"Well..," he started, finding no reason or suspicion that would lead him to believe that she was a threat. Atem frowned slightly in thought; trying to quickly analyze the situation for misfortune. When he found nothing that seemed amiss(she didn't look dangerous, anyway), he blinked again; certain that it looked like he was having a hard time understanding what she had just said. 'Sometimes being foreign pays off,' the Egyptian thought to himself as he turned his bright vermilion gaze back up to her. "Okay," he replied after a slight hesitant moment. "But.. music is illegal here in the city," Yami said slowly, pretending to be completely innocent; at least until he figured out if which side of the bad Selphie stood on.
