Summary:Sasuke really needs a job if he wants to stay in the city, but of course to his luck, things don't go as smoothly as planned.
Sasuke knew he was procrastinating far too long on this thing, and if he waited any longer, some idiot was sure to come along and take away the position before he even had the chance to speak to someone; if they haven’t all ready. It wasn’t that he was concerned about not having even a single moment of previous working experience to his record, because in all truth, he figured he could wing this. After all, he was excellent in anything he put effort into, not perfect, but pretty damn close, and he was more than sure that he could handle a pet shop of all things. The only real problem he was concerned about was the big chunk out of his time a job would take away; time that he wasn’t entirely ready to dish away, not for this. To him, time became a suffocating essence that he was growing short of patience with; each moment to him was valued to the highest, and any hour he could use to place himself that much closer to his goal was used to the fullest. If he had the choice, he wouldn’t even consider balancing anything else into his day’s activities, but unfortunately he didn’t, and it couldn’t be helped. Living on your own wasn’t free, or by any means easy; he needed the money if he was really going to take his chances in this city.
For now, he had to put his thoughts on hold long enough to find the manager of this place. Stopping at the end of the aisle, Sasuke muttered a curse under his breath while glancing around; the place was deserted. Who was the person he had to kill to get some service here?
A loud, ear panging caw to left of the store directed his attention that way, and after a momentary pause Sasuke began walking in that direction. Finally, Dark eyes landed on a young girl, crouched and tending to one of the birds. From the looks of it, she couldn’t have been any older than him, which could prove to be a good thing; students were hired.
“Oi,” He stopped just close enough to the see the shade of green her eyes proudly displayed when she looked towards him. “Has the position been filled?” He asked flatly while holding out the ‘now hiring’ ad he had neatly cut out a couple of days ago, waiting for her to take it. “If not, I’m here to apply.”
