If it was possible, Seto was sure he was feeling phantom pain from not having a computer to type on. )
“Come on! Come on!” he bounced on his toes grinning ear to ear as he continued, “aren’t your excited about your birthday gift? You’ll love it!”

Shoving his hand into his pocket, pulling out the directions to where his gift was located and then tucking it back into his pocket, giving it a pat to make sure it stayed in it’s place. Jumping into the passenger seat of the car, hardly behind over to see over the dash board, legs swinging around freely just grazing the ground with the tips of his toes.

Well, the good thing is, Seto thought as he and Mokuba climbed into the car, the media will never guess that that was my car. The paparazzi usually had a field day every time they spotted him in a new car --heck, he was sure there was even a magazine section specifically dedicated to "Seto Kaiba's Rides".
Pulling out of the garage and out the back entrance of the Kaiba estate, Kaiba glanced over at Mokuba once they pulled on to the main highway. "Exactly where are we going, Mokuba?" he sighed. "If we're going out of the city, you should've told me to use the helicoptor instead."

“How many times do I have to tell you? It’s a surprise!” he rebuked his brother with a firm look in his eye. “And where we’re going you can’t land the helicopter.” snickering lightly, taking the utmost enjoyment out of his older brother being clueless to where he was taking him. It was going to be the best birthday present he had ever made his brother do.

They pulled into the downtown shopping area that was already decorated for Halloween and was also, unfortunately, bustling with weekend shoppers. At least these people looked respectable compared to the inner city shops that they had to pass on the way here. Mokuba knows my tastes. Seto parked the car where Mokuba told him to and stepped outside, straightening his long, billowing trenchcoat and making sure that his sunglasses covered most of his eyes. Good, no media in sight. That alone was enough to lighten his mood ( ... )

Reaching down, he scooped up the small boy and placed him on his shoulders, like he used to do when Mokuba was barely old enough to walk. The movement actually drew a grunt from his lips. Despite the fact that Seto was now taller and stronger than ever, Mokuba really was growing up. Seto didn't remember his brother being so heavy. A part of him quickly realized that he wouldn't be able to enjoy this luxury forever. Best to enjoy it now then.Ignoring the part of his pride that screamed at him to put his brother down and stop drawing attention to himself, Seto looked up at the small boy. "What in creation are you ( ... )

Scrambling down from his brother’s shoulder, taking a hand full of his trench coat(which was one thing that always Mokuba admired about Seto…he wore a trench coat no matter how brutal the weather, he always figured it was a hidden talent his brother had.) and pulled him along toward the building with colored neon lights that flashed with an assortment of colors reading Japan’s Ink “We’re here!” exclaiming loudly as he made his way into the tattoo parlor like he belonged there and it was his own property.

Feeling the pressure of his trenchoat pulling at his waist, Seto allowed himself to be dragged along with a small sigh and an even tinier smile. Some things never changed. Mokuba had dragged Seto around since the baby was old enough to crawl and despite being bigger and older, the blue-eyed boy always followed like an obedient pet. Only for Mokuba, he told himself sharply.
Blue eyes glanced over the rim of his sunglasses and widened in surprise. Oh HELL no. Instantly, the CEO dug his heels in and stood still on the street, stopping Mokuba from pulling him fully inside. "Mokuba, I am not getting a tattoo." The only things he'd even REMOTELY consider tattooing to any part of his body would be a Blue-Eyes White Dragon and/or Mokuba's name, but that would only be if he was severely inebriated and held at gunpoint.

Apparently not.
Seeing that his brother was not going to listen to reason and was probably telling the tattoo parlor woman all sorts of embarrassing stories about his usually high-and-mighty brother, Seto took a deep breath and stormed into the parlor with as much defiance as his pride would allow. Setting his hand on his hips, he stood to his full height and looked from Mokuba to the woman and back again. "I am not getting a tattoo," he repeated, just for clarification, though he was sure his brother heard him just fine through the glass door. "Mokuba, I don't think you're of legal age to be in here. C'mon, we're going home."

Mokuba, of course, had to make the situation more difficult by looking positively adorable holding up the board of earring choices. Seto found himself sighing in defeat. No matter how many times he tried (to be honest, it wasn't all that many), he could never say no to his baby brother.
Of course, then Mokuba had to mention all his options and Seto reeled back in horror. "Mokuba!" he snapped, sounding absolutely scandalized. "I'll just be getting it in my ear, thank you." He leaned down until they were eye level and narrowed his pretty blue eyes at his brother. "How do you know about that sort of thing anyways?" he demanded. "Did kids from school ( ... )
