After pulling on the seventh vest he could find, looking at himself in the mirror and grumbling as he took it off and banished it back to the closet it came from. Pulling on his regular yellow vest over his long sleeved white and blue stripped shirt. Satisfied, he shoved his tiny foot into his sneaker and grabbed his precious card slipping around his messy black hair quickly as he slid out into the living room where Seto was. “No! That would count as working, no work today. At all.” snatching the remote from his hand and throwing it to some other place in the room.

“Come on! Come on!” he bounced on his toes grinning ear to ear as he continued, “aren’t your excited about your birthday gift? You’ll love it!”

The pitter-patter of little feet echoing down the massive halls of the mansion made Seto look up just in time to see his brother practically skip into the room. The boy was already dressed for a nice day out and Seto blinked in baffelment. He thought he was going to be given something, since Mokuba usually had a great time finding him a birthday present ( ... )

Trotting behind his elder brother as they walked to their gauge filled to the door with his brother’s car collection. Running all over, trying to pick the one he wanted to go in that day, looking at the one that was the most different then the others, the one that wasn’t blue, of course. “That one. Let’s take that one.” Pointing at the red car he had scurried over to.

Shoving his hand into his pocket, pulling out the directions to where his gift was located and then tucking it back into his pocket, giving it a pat to make sure it stayed in it’s place. Jumping into the passenger seat of the car, hardly behind over to see over the dash board, legs swinging around freely just grazing the ground with the tips of his toes.

(( This hot car, because it's not blue XDD

Seto rolled his eyes at his brother's choice. That was an old car he got --basically as a gift-- from a vintage car auction. He didn't like the style and didn't like the color, so he mainly kept it stashed away at the far end of the garage. Of course Mokuba would find it, the younger Kaiba had a talent for this sort of thing.

Well, the good thing is, Seto thought as he and Mokuba climbed into the car, the media will never guess that that was my car. The paparazzi usually had a field day every time they spotted him in a new car --heck, he was sure there was even a magazine section specifically dedicated to "Seto Kaiba's Rides".

Pulling out of the garage and out the back entrance of the Kaiba estate, Kaiba glanced over at Mokuba once they pulled on to the main highway. "Exactly where are we going, Mokuba?" he sighed. "If we're going out of the city, you should've told me to use the helicoptor instead."

Pulling the seat belt over his shoulder as it clicked softly pulling it gently to make it a bit more snug, looking out the windows. Pulling the directions out again looking over the first few lines “Take a right at the light.” was all he told him before stashing it back into his pocket.

“How many times do I have to tell you? It’s a surprise!” he rebuked his brother with a firm look in his eye. “And where we’re going you can’t land the helicopter.” snickering lightly, taking the utmost enjoyment out of his older brother being clueless to where he was taking him. It was going to be the best birthday present he had ever made his brother do.

Seto gave a sigh that sounded like it belonged to a man twice his age. Wandering aimlessly around the city in a old-fashioned car while hiding from the paparazzi and attempting to keep a hyperactive brother satisfied wasn't exactly high on his list of "things to do on my birthday". He assumed that Mokuba wanted him to take a day off and that the two of them would spend said day playing video games and watching TV. That would've been nice and refreshing.

They pulled into the downtown shopping area that was already decorated for Halloween and was also, unfortunately, bustling with weekend shoppers. At least these people looked respectable compared to the inner city shops that they had to pass on the way here. Mokuba knows my tastes. Seto parked the car where Mokuba told him to and stepped outside, straightening his long, billowing trenchcoat and making sure that his sunglasses covered most of his eyes. Good, no media in sight. That alone was enough to lighten his mood ( ... )

Looking around the busy shopping center, standing on his tip-toes wasn’t going to work to see over all these people. Tugging on his brother coat; “Pick me up, I can’t see.” he reached up for his brother to pick him up in order t get a better seeing advantage above the people that bustled around them.

Kaiba looked down and blinked, though he couldn't hide the slow smile that was crawling on his face. Mokuba hadn't asked him to do that in a while, and a part of Seto had been worried that the boy had entered the dreaded "I'm too old to be fawned over" phase that all pre-teens and teens seem to go through. Luckily, it didn't seem like that was the case. (Not that Seto would've ever admitted to feeling neglected, oh no.)

Reaching down, he scooped up the small boy and placed him on his shoulders, like he used to do when Mokuba was barely old enough to walk. The movement actually drew a grunt from his lips. Despite the fact that Seto was now taller and stronger than ever, Mokuba really was growing up. Seto didn't remember his brother being so heavy. A part of him quickly realized that he wouldn't be able to enjoy this luxury forever. Best to enjoy it now then.Ignoring the part of his pride that screamed at him to put his brother down and stop drawing attention to himself, Seto looked up at the small boy. "What in creation are you ( ... )

Much better, at a high point like this he could see just about every thing in his surrounding. Bustling people, children running here and there, older teens walking and being obnoxious with one another as they made their way. He took in the people as they walked by, seeing how interesting he one was in their own little way. After doing a scan of the people in the area, he spotted the place where they were headed. “That way!”

Scrambling down from his brother’s shoulder, taking a hand full of his trench coat(which was one thing that always Mokuba admired about Seto…he wore a trench coat no matter how brutal the weather, he always figured it was a hidden talent his brother had.) and pulled him along toward the building with colored neon lights that flashed with an assortment of colors reading Japan’s Ink “We’re here!” exclaiming loudly as he made his way into the tattoo parlor like he belonged there and it was his own property.

[ooc: Damn straight, Seto's turned trenchcoat-wearing into an artform! 8D]

Feeling the pressure of his trenchoat pulling at his waist, Seto allowed himself to be dragged along with a small sigh and an even tinier smile. Some things never changed. Mokuba had dragged Seto around since the baby was old enough to crawl and despite being bigger and older, the blue-eyed boy always followed like an obedient pet. Only for Mokuba, he told himself sharply.

Blue eyes glanced over the rim of his sunglasses and widened in surprise. Oh HELL no. Instantly, the CEO dug his heels in and stood still on the street, stopping Mokuba from pulling him fully inside. "Mokuba, I am not getting a tattoo." The only things he'd even REMOTELY consider tattooing to any part of his body would be a Blue-Eyes White Dragon and/or Mokuba's name, but that would only be if he was severely inebriated and held at gunpoint.

Going back to the glass door, face pressed against it waiting for him to come inside. He spoke to Seto even though the glass prevented him from hearing him correctly. “Wii-nan wum en side.” (translation: Nii-san come inside.) Waving for him to follow him inside the parlor, the tattooed and pierced woman at the counter, snickering at Mokuba and his cuteness. Looking over his shoulder at the woman and pointing at Seto as he said something to her and then looked back at his brother.

Seto tried his damnest not to pout when Mokuba pressed his face against the glass and all but commanded him to come in. The CEO glared at Mokuba and the woman half-heartedly. Did they even realize he existed? That he deserved a say in this decision?

Apparently not.

Seeing that his brother was not going to listen to reason and was probably telling the tattoo parlor woman all sorts of embarrassing stories about his usually high-and-mighty brother, Seto took a deep breath and stormed into the parlor with as much defiance as his pride would allow. Setting his hand on his hips, he stood to his full height and looked from Mokuba to the woman and back again. "I am not getting a tattoo," he repeated, just for clarification, though he was sure his brother heard him just fine through the glass door. "Mokuba, I don't think you're of legal age to be in here. C'mon, we're going home."

Tugging on the woman’s shirt gently and pointing as his brother when he walked in. The woman chuckled as he walked in “Ah, I see. I’ll get it all step up for him then.” smirking at the devious little boys plot to get his brother into what he had planned. Bouncing on his toes as the glass door opened and his brother towered over him. Grinning up at him as he held up a little plaque of earring choices. “You would look good with this one.” pointing at a silver stud on the plaque he held in his hands. “You’re getting it, I already paid for you. The woman said she’s getting everything ready and you can get it where ever you want.” pausing a moment and winking at his brother putting his hand to one side of his mouth, as if he were telling a secret-a notable trait of many young children- “You can even get an exotic piercing too.”

For once, any evidence of a scowl or a sneer melted off Seto's face, leaving him looking very much like a normal, baffled young man. The good thing was, he wasn't going to be forced to get a tattoo. The bad thing was, he was getting a piercing. In Seto Kaiba's eyes, that was only minutely better.

Mokuba, of course, had to make the situation more difficult by looking positively adorable holding up the board of earring choices. Seto found himself sighing in defeat. No matter how many times he tried (to be honest, it wasn't all that many), he could never say no to his baby brother.

Of course, then Mokuba had to mention all his options and Seto reeled back in horror. "Mokuba!" he snapped, sounding absolutely scandalized. "I'll just be getting it in my ear, thank you." He leaned down until they were eye level and narrowed his pretty blue eyes at his brother. "How do you know about that sort of thing anyways?" he demanded. "Did kids from school ( ... )
