Summary: Himawari decides to go out for dinner and, after much walking and searching, stops at the Blue Hydrangeas.
There were many places to chose from.
Himawari had already passed at least five, but she wasn't exactly picky when it came to food. It was just that she didn't feel like any of things she'd passed. She also hadn't felt like anything she'd had at home. Hence, going out for dinner.
She hadn't done much since moving back to the city. It wasn't like she'd seen too many of her old friends, or made any new ones, unless you counted her neighbor Sakura, but they hardly saw each other and never went out together. Then there was that little fact that Himawari was afraid something bad would happen to someone if she did venture out of her appartment.
She sighed and glanced up at the restaurant in front of her and shook her head, continuing the walk down the street in silence. She'd left Tanpopo at home for the evening and rather wished she hadn't. However, Tanpopo liked to twitter and sing and she hadn't wanted to bring the little bird along, just in case there were a few extremist out, who thought that a singing bird was breaking the law.
Another three restraunts later and Himawari was still undecided at where she wanted to eat. She missed Watanuki's cooking and her thoughts traveled to the good ol' days before she'd moved. Like the picnics they'd gone on and the food Watanuki always made. Perhaps that was why she didn't want any of the food at these restaurants: they didn't measure up and she was feeling nostalgic.
Sighing again and her stomach growling, Himawari finally decided to stop at a restaurant she hadn't yet tried: The Blue Hydrangeas.
She stepped inside, looking around, curious to know if she should seat herself or wait to be seated and wondering what sort of menue the place had.
