So, yesterday I went for my follow up appointment for my gall bladder and the doctor said, "Well, it definitely needed to come out." Apparently it was quite a bit bigger than it should have been and looked like it had been hugely inflamed for quite some time now (which completely explains so much). She went on to talk about how diseased it was using a lot of medical terms that I do not remember... but basically when they pulled it out it looked like a God awful mess. Thank God, it's gone! Oh, and I'm healing nicely! :D
Every day of this semester gets me more excited so far. Yeah, it's going to be TONS of work, but I can't even complain, because I'm so pumped for it. I've decided that I'm going to start pulling double days, every day but Thursday mornings. Mondays and Fridays (and maybe sometimes times Tuesdays instead depending on when models are free) will be makeup days where I do an extra beauty makeup for my portfolio. I already have this Friday and next Monday and Friday lined up with the makeups picked out and everything.
I also have a huge list of things I want to get done in props class. One at a time till as much of it is done as I can handle!! I'm going to be making props for an evil steam punk character and a good one. Should be good times. For Portfolio class I'm making a fake mannequin wig and turning Kristen into a mannequin. I'll also have the freedom to work on whatever I want in that class. I really want to work my ass off so that I'm getting a ridiculous amount done.
My major goal right now is to have the best beauty makeup portfolio that Jerry's seen leave the Savini program. It sounds much less ambitious than it actually is when you take into account that not very many people go for straight beauty makeup. And even fewer of them realize in time that you can use Mike Anderson for the taking of such photos. It kind of feels like cheating.
