I now (officially) live in California!!!
Christian and I moved into our apartment yesterday and not a moment too soon!! That morning the cops broke down the door of the hotel room next door to us!!! It was a bit crazy! Apparently the poor girl had commited suicide.... she was still breathing when they took her away, but it didn't look very good. It felt good to get out of that hotel!!
The apartment is everything I remember it and more. I don't know when I became such a organizational nerd, but I spent a good portion of yesterday evening cleaning out cupboards and geeking out over how efficiently that use storage space in this apartment! All the closets have little cubbies and double poles to put more clothing on and there's a fantastic pantry with shelves all the way to our tall ceilings (I think they're about 9 feet high!). It's all very exciting and has unpacking all the more fun when it's easy to find a place for everything.
Last night Christian and I got the bed set up and the tv and dvd player working and sat and watched movies when we were too tired to work any more. There's still so much left to do but it feels fantastic to be home. And it already feels like home. :) I really love our apartment.
The pool is even cooler than I remember it and we have two tennis courts and a basket ball court and two hottubs that are connected. Yeah, it makes me pretty happy. :)
I just wanted to give you guys an update before heading back upstairs to unpack some more (We still have no internet so I'm in the computer lap of the apartment complex. :)

P.S. Bowser made the move very well. It's odd how much he loves the car, but I feel like he's definitely happy to be settled again. We bouth him a lazer pointer and it's his new favorite toy!
