My feelings are that of excitement. I tell you moving on my path to the future is sooo kewl. My hurtles might seem huge but they will fade with the progression of where I am going. I am going on 26 and I am going after a Master's Degree and moving to another state. It is such a huge risk and change. Something I never done.
This is a crucible in which I am being refined and by the end I pray I will be the man I need to be a Pastor. Up till now I have been mediocre and some people can attest to that, but this time has been given to me. Actions speak louder than these things that I am typing (you know words) and I want them to show people I have changed and improved. I have cut some poisonous relationships in the past few weeks which is good. I have weakened some friendships, but in the end I hope those will be strengthened. I write about it cause it still bothers me, yet there is nothing I can do. So all I can do is shrug my shoulders and move forward.
My mother said I am this new state is the starting of a new life for me. I told her that is not true because that would me cutting off my old life. And I love my family and friends too much to forget them. They are the fuel that help me to move forward. They are the fire the God uses to help refine me. So I told my mom that I am moving towards the future and that its not a new beginning but a continuation of my journey. I am done resting and settling I want to be like Abraham and Jacob who kept striving for their goals.
No man is sinless, but Jesus. I want to strive to be upright and a model. The definition of a elder that Paul gives to Timothy then maybe I can be a pastor, huh? Maybe I will never be ready, but God has his plans and I want to get on board with them. I am bit charged and a whole lot of scared. Yet that will not stop me. It did not stop Moses cause God did not let him. Joshua was told to be strong and courageous. These are my examples and heroes.
Man when your jobless all you have time to do is pack, think and pray. I have not slept well and thus my appetite is smaller, but I am healthy which is good. I used the word to combat my fear a lot for example. I have relied on Psalms when I have woken up trembling and it has calmed me enough to put me back to sleep. This has been the most refining moment of my life ever.
It seems I have no ride tonight for the peach so sadly no study and no friends. =(
I will seem some of them Sunday. I miss them all, especially the Melati. Well hmmm I guess that is it for now. I have to go pack and sign up for classes. More later I think....
