I've been playing a lot of Left 4 Dead recently. And I mean a lot. What with the survival patch out and whatnot. Survival is a bitch but it's hella fun. It's really frustrating though, having to access single-player survival through the developer's console what with the copy I have not being real and all. I've gotten used to it though so it's aight.
I still haven't played with my friends online either because I have yet to set up Hamachi and because they always seem to want to play way after 10pm. I mean, I'd love to play against/with them if my parents weren't so tight or paranoid with the internet really. That and my desktop cannot handle the game and even if my if my laptop could, the lag is horrible. So I have to play on my dad's monster of a desktop which he usually shuts down at 11pm. Really, I don't know why they're so paranoid about leaving the modem on the whole night, even once.
So far, my summer has consisted of mostly Left 4 Dead, some Symphonia, some Dark Cloud, a lot of visual novels (Saya no Uta, Tears to Tiara, Narcissu, Utawarerumono), watching 10 anime series of this season (07-Ghost, Basquash, Eden of the East, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, K-ON!, Phantom, Sengoku Basara, Shangri-La, Tears to Tiara, Valkyria Chronicles), and reading manga (Bakuman, Reborn, Shiawase Kissa Sanchoume, Until Death Do Us Part), and on one occasion a convention (Shizen Orchestra). Yeah, not very fruitful. .___.
I never got to talk about Shizen Orchestra either, have I?
My friends and I were there really early so we were hanging out by the escalators of SMX playing with Danbooru. Danbooru was the biggest attraction among us. XD So much so that he became tomokii's mascot during the con at her table. xD
Truthfully, I wasn't able to walk around much because I was watching tomokii's booth maybe a third of the time but I was able to get myself some Hetalia merchandise and some TWEWY keychains, and tomokii's K-On bookmarks. I took some pictures of the cosplayer which were, though plentiful, were only sub-par. Not many really worth picturing really. Sorry if someone stumbles across this and is offended by it. .__.;;
Oh, I'm also bothered by the fact that someone in the table beside tomokii's was selling Hetalia stuff... and they were so familiar looking. So familiar that I think I have to in my f-list but I can't place who you were at the moment. SORRY! "OTL I bought an America pin and bookmark? ^^;
Overall, the con was decent for its first year. I loved the venue if that counts for anything. XD There's another con coming soon (Summer Komikon) and I'm still going to that. Anyone from the Philippines going to that one?
Augh, I haven't even written anything decent this past few weeks. Ah summer, I'm just wasting you away, aren't I?
