Wait here, I'll come back with milk and crackers

Both my computer and my dog are very old, very sick, and on the verge of dying. I don't care about the computer since it can be replaced, but Cody is one of a kind and I will be horribly depressed, er, moreso, once he goes to doggie heaven.

As for my computer, I think I'll probably replace it with a Mac or one I build with the help of my computer literate friends. My needs are pretty much a quick way to surf the interwebs, connect to AIM (my support group), and a competent word program (preferably Microsoft word).

I'm about half way done with Srcatches the Racist cat and I can already tell that I'm going to have to cut some stuff from Act 2. The whole point of the story is to point out the absurdity of racists while not being offensive. Also, I'm a little behind in my stories, but the reason is that Scratches will probably end up being 6 to 8 pages long and I'm going through it slowly so my big reveal has some impact and to ensure it is not overly offensive. I need to finish it and two others by next week, and the other two need to be about an experience I've had spending the night somewhere other than home. One is about when I was confused as a gay boy and the other can be titled "Steve's Very First Date". I expect them to be between 2 or 3 pages in length max.

Also, my presentation did not go over well today. I had some energy and made the whole class participate, but since I was the opening presenter I had to make sure I didn't step out of my bounds and cover what my co-presenters were doing. That's why I like going last, but oh well. We got a small spatter of applause, most because after me it got boring. I'm not saying that because I'm an ass... well, I guess I am, but I had a list of notes and winged it for optimal energy, my partners were all reading their papers verbatim. **yawn**

Oh, and I got a 90% on my government test. Sweet deal, eh?

Anyway, how was your day?
