Yesterday was my first full day with my borrowed copy of Bioshock and wouldn't you know it, the power went out. Now, being ripped from Bioshock is enough to piss me off, but the power goes out here roughly five to six times a year. After the last big power outage in New York wasn't there a discussion of power grid reform or something?
I swear the power goes out here for no reason some times. Heck, last time only three other houses lost power and Consumer's Energy didn't know about it. This was the third time it went out here this year and I expect it to either go out again tonight or once again in October and December respectively.
Damage report:
1) It was shopping day a few hours before the power went out and a few things had to be tossed.
2) I lost out on valuable Bioshock time.
3) As usual, I had to jump through a bunch of hoops to get the internet connection back up and running.
4) I got about 3 hours of forced sleep.
5) Very wet floors from the melted ice purchased in attempt to salvage frozen goods.
