SO worth the wait. This was absolutely fantastic. I love some dark Winchesters and the story you came up with for badbastion's creepily wonderful art was creepily amazing.

It's so very wonderful to know that I did bas's brilliant artwork justice. I had more fun that I ought to writing this boys. Thanks so much for the note!

I love the twisted dark version of the Winchesters you've created here, and the way they're every bit as tangled up with each other as ever. I like to think this was an improbable happy ending :)

I'm with you on the happy ending, even though I felt compelled to leave it up to interpretation. So glad you liked this version of the boys. Very, very fun to write. Many thanks!

So dark and creepy and awesome, just like Badbastion's art work. Great story. I loved so much about it, but especially that they couldn't keep their hands off one another from the second they were out of the grave. And of course things would go very wrong for anyone trying to control those boys against their will. Really awesome job!

Dark and creepy was certainly the goal, and it's great to know this hit the mark! Nobody controls a Winchester, right? (Well, except another Winchester, I suppose.) Thanks very much for the lovely feedback!

This was so damn good. Loved the over-all tone and mood of the story. Such a perfect match to the art.

That was - pardon my French - fucking beautiful. And yes, I realize it's a story about necromany and blood and death, but the way you wrote the brothers, their absolute and undeniable love whereever and whenever they are, is breathtaking. You paint pictures and atmosphere with your words, who are so fitting with the art and describe the brothers and what death might do to them do well. I love the little bits of canon woven in and how you left their actual death a mystery.

Such an amazing story!

French duly pardoned (I have the foulest of mouths, so no worries there!). This was a blast to write, to try and figure out little snippets of canon that would fit and to be able to write these boys as almost feral, violent and all wrapped up in only each other. It's wonderful to know that you liked it. Thanks so much for the kind feedback!
