I can't even begin to talk about how unfailingly kind you are, every single day, whether it's on days when I need a boost, or days when it just comes out of the blue, or how enthusiastic and cheery you are about most things that should rightly be celebrated as fantastic but which I forget are AWESOME and would forget a lot more if not for your constant reminders (fandom! writing! dancing! singing!), and how patient you are when I go on full-scale email rants, and how clever you are about everything (like, your dissertation remains one of my favourite things ever, strange as it sounds to say, uh) and passionate, and oh, hey, did I mention that I think you're a REALLY GOOD WRITER? I love how much you've written in the past year and the stories I've been privileged enough to get a peek at before completion, as well as the knack you have of describing things - especially love - just right. (I'm not kidding, btw, I still remember the Andrew/Jesse story where Jesse's heart reshapes itself in his chest, like molten glass. Like! Arrrrgh I love that sentence). I also legitimately love that you are, like, IN THE SAME COUNTRY AS ME, or rather I am (was? will be??) in the same country as you, as well as the fact that if it hadn't been for you cheering me on I would probably have found everything a lot more scary and intimidating. I love that I can show you off to my RL friends.
SO ANYWAY. The theme of this letter is: you are amazing and wonderful, darling, and you just make everything better. ♥♥♥
