Heroes
I just watched today's Heroes, and HOLY SHIT!!!! Just, just, I, gah, I have no words to express what it makes me feel. I am excited, and nervous, and frustrated, and AAAAAAHHHH!
Is it too much for me to ask for a little Peter!love? Really? Because he's only been half there the entire volume. And I understand that the show isn't all about him (even if I think it should be), but I really just want someone to throw the poor kid a break. Let him do something other than fly. Why did they not even try to get his powers back by taking Claire's ability? Because, really, if I was around super healing girl, that's what I would do. And I just want a little bit of Peter/Sylar action this volume. They had such great chemistry during volume three, why couldn't they bring that back? And I kinda understand that they wanted a barely powered Peter character arc, but they haven't done anything with it. He has been Marty Stu with a big hate!on for Nathan. And that's it. And he wasn't even a very good Marty Stu. Marty Stu is supposed to save the day. I'm just wondering/hoping if maybe he is going to have some sort of big moment of understanding and that will spark him getting his powers back. Maybe he is supposed to realize that instead of closing others out, he needs to start letting them back in and that will allow those powers to come back.
And WTF is up with Hiro? I don't understand. Is his boost from baby!touch-and-go running out? Or what? Because that seemed to be really random, and maybe it does go back to something we've seen previously, but I can't remember anything that would hint at it.
And I am all for Matt being happy, but it seems really easy for him to forget about Daphne. And yeah, maybe she really was a substitue for Janice, but Matt's a nice guy, and I think he would at least have a little bit of guilt about it...and what happened to Molly? Is she in India? And I'm confused about the future that she, Matt, and Daphne were supposed to have. And yeah, they stopped that future, but did they have to stop all the good things that happened in it, too? Cause where did brother!Gabriel go? You have to assume that at some point they realized that he wasn't biologically a Petrelli, right?
And I just had a thought, I'm kinda wondering now, if maybe some of the Sylar we see in the preview for next week could possible be Peter as Sylar. Because the blue glowy hands? Totally a Peter move when he has that power...so now I am setting myself up for disappointment, aren't I? *sighs*
And does anyone know if the season finale is going to be a long episode? Because that would be awesome...
