WooHoo!! for icons!
I am a member again! It makes me happy. It interests me that every year I renew my membership a little later. My first year was a gift from namio, for christmas, then my second year happened on the first of January, and now this year is the tenth...just an ovservation.
So I finished The Gunslinger. I started The Drawing of the Three, the second Dark Tower book, and it starts a little slow. I know that it gets better, but it is difficult, because I have so many other books that I want to read, too. Like Contact...I read the first couple pages today while waiting for Anthony to get off work, and even just the beginning gives me chills. On that note, does anyone know if Carl Sagan is dead? I seem to remember hearing that at some point, but I don't know if it was, a defintely statement, or an I think statement.
So I have the 30 Seconds to Mars CDs. I really love them. And it doesn't hurt that Jared Leto is a very pretty man. Lol...anyway.
OH!!! I bought the first Kingdom Hearts game! I am still in the beginning, and it is really good! It is lots of fun and makes me laugh sometimes. I get so excited seeing all the random Final Fantasy characters. I know that I don't know all of them, but I have recognized a bunch from FFX and FFVII. Aerith, and Yuffie, and Leon, and Cloud, and Wakka, and maybe Tidus, though I can't tell if it is the same Tidus. And I recognize the name Kairie, but I don't know from where. And every time the say the name of the main character I think of Digimon, because one of the girls is named Sora...
I wrote some today at lunch. It was good. I've started to realize that while the wizards are all "main" characters, Mikhail and Rymortai are the true main characters. The book is about their stories, and how they are parallel paths and how their powers and friendship grow and affect themselves and each other. Now if I can get that into a story form...
Anyway, I think that is it for now. I am going to go play Kingdom Hearts for a while...
