"I have this "gotta catch them all" complex when it comes to Yubinbasya"

Oh man, I know what you mean... but because I'm insanely poor, I fill that obsessive drive in my soul by high resolution Yubinbasya-related scans and scanlations x-x; I'm constantly on the look-out for new uploads by people... because I actually own very few hard-copy doujinshi that I could hold. ;-;

I'm sorry that the club is a bit slow right now, but I hope it will grow and pick up! I'm working on various things for it, so I hope it becomes a fun, friendly club. I know I've already met some really awesome people from it. ^_^

And I don' think it's a matter of whether your scraps look like your finished work or not... or whether they're "subpar" or great or whatever. The fact that the artist considers them unfinished allows the viewer to look at them as a process of creativity, rather than the end result of creativity, and if the end result looks nothing like the process, then that's all the more beautiful. ^-^ By process I mean the exploration that occurs when you're trying to find something that you want to follow through with, or try to map out the ideas that you're trying to convey... yanno?

Though I'm not really one to talk, I never finish anything I start ;-; So I consider like... everything I draw to be scrap/sketch. XD (I still end up posting it, though, lol)

Thanks! Reading your comment is really encouraging. ^^

I don't actually own that many doujinshi either since most stores charge 2-3 times the original price and so I just feel kinda ripped off. If I buy it at something around the original price, then I typically have to import from Japan, and then shipping ends up costing as much as the book. (_ _; ) There's also a lot of circles that I equally admire! However, it's only Yubinbasya doujinshi that I can't help buying more of than just my favorite ones. I definitely rely on scans though to determine which ones to buy since I can't just flip through the book unless I'm at a con. (_ _) I also really have to restrict impulses to purchase more! ^^;;; Maybe it has to do with how Yubinbasya always prints on a variety of interesting paper types for their books? Haha.
