The joys of being Pinoy
I was watching Wowowee around lunch time today at Syoti's while doing the big book. OK, I wasn't really watching, more like listening. But this one really struck me.
A contestant was making kwento about the sorrows of his life (don't all Wowowee contestants have telenovela-ish life stories?) -- about how his wife and child left him. He estimates that his child is around 21 years old by now. And he makes this announcement for the entire world to see and hear:
"Anak, kung nasaan ka man, tatlong letra lang ang gusto kong iparating sa'yo.
L-O-V-E.
Love."
Dabes talaga ang Pinoy.
Sorry na please, bumenta lang talaga sa'kin. I couldn't stop laughing kanina--kahit di ko bahay.
