I read a lot of Plurks and Tweets on the issue. About how Ronaldo Mendoza is a selfish man who only thought about himself, about how the SWAT team sucked in being able to open the bus and free the hostages, about how the media sensationalized the entire

Honestly, what disappointed me the most was how the media handled the situation. You're right. They wanted a scoop and dove right in. A lot of people are worried about the nation's image too, which I think should be secondary when what badly needs attention is the efficiency of our police force.
