I was guessing Chamcharan was a single planet or planetary system, possibly part of one of the two larger groups.
In things that may either be dialect differences or different intended meanings ... in "reciting his people’s prayer to the dead" I would say "prayer *for* the dead", unless perhaps the person doing the recitation is an ancestor worshipper?
Face palm. It was meant to be prayer for the dead but there was something running around in my head about there being two ways to translate the phrase. Perhaps it's both?
Also, still fascinated by this city's architecture. And curious to see where the rest of the named folks turn up in this mess.
It seems odd to have a name for Chamcharan but not for the host government ...? Or is there one and I've misplaced it?
