That was exceptionally gracious of Master Que. I was a bit surprised the conductor didn't offer any recompense for them not being able to enjoy their private compartment though. ;)

in my experience, conductor's do not have much power in that department.

Matters might not be entirely finished with - Madam Rau and most of her children were travelling in better seats than their tickets entitled them to. :)

Master Que's last train trip ran horribly late because of an unexpected delay. He was quite eager for this one not to have similar problems.

The matter might not be entirely over. :)
