Cosplay

He laced up his arm guards, rechecked and then strapped on his weapons, pulled on his coat and slung his rifle over his shoulder.

He wasn’t going to win the cosplay, he knew that.

But he wasn’t going for the cosplay, not really.

He was the original and he was going to work.

It was probably best the convention organisers didn’t know that in advance.

The original of this got scribbled down while I was waiting in line for the doors to open at Supanova. The idea hit me while I was looking at the cosplayers wandering around...
