It's strange, to awaken after long periods without sleep. Your eyes open blinking into the morning sun, unsure of the time or place. Then you realize it's only been a scant handful of hours since sleep took hold on you.
But it's not so bad, you can seroiusly catch up on your reading if you don't end up watching infomercials... Some of those things are actually really amusing.Well they are until the fourth or fifth time. This is why I love digital cable. Hundreds of channels with nothing on, so I can watch some movie I've never wanted to see on one of the 45 channels of HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, Stars, and Encore... All of it becomes one big block of mostly unwatchable movies... Though from time to time you get hours of truly good films. Seldom but wonderful when it happens.
Oh well, so it goes, Tonight I'm going to Matrix: Reloaded again. Mainly because I was asked and didn't have anything else to be doing at 6 o`clock in the evening. It should be good even for the second time. Though I may ignore the rave scene, somthing about seeing Keanou Reeves` naked butt doesn't appeal to me. Just a thought...
I don't know why I'm often driven to write here after I wake up, nothing has usually happened except for the usual 2-4 hours of sleep. And yet I always write more in the moments after I drag myself out of bed. Then again,I also write before sleep can force me into it's grasp, in the hours of the morning when the sky is truly dark, moments before I watchthe sun rise over the trees... But then I write most ofte around 3 am... when nothing happens and there is no reason for inspiratoins. It's strange that that is the way t works, but it's true.
Well I'm afraid I've run out of things to say. Perhaps I'll have more later... Until then...
I fear sleep for the dreams it may bring, the only sleep I fear not, is the final sleep we all take.
