So glad...
that I've taken more than one lab class and actually paid attention when they did their safety in lab speech...cause today at work we needed to use our eye wash station. The girl who needed it was all 'what do you mean I need to read directions, freaking out over here' and the guy who was trying to help was trying to frantically read directions and I just was all 'what happened? Oh yes, eye wash' before I basically took over and got her eyes washed out.
I'm so praying that we got all the stuff out of her eyes too. I really hope she doesn't get sick. She got exposed to some serious germs today.
Also work related is residents say the darnest things...because they do.
I'm very used to being called some variation of mom by people old enough to be my grandparents. Yesterday one of them started calling me grandma.
Also one of my patients told me, "I need to go to my room."
I grinned and said, "What's the magic word?"
"Power Rangers!"
I let him have that one...especially since he was the one who convinced me to go as mmpr red for the Halloween party.
