*hugs back* I really cannot wait to see more of Renee in your college verse. And she is, honestly, such a lovely character. I don't know why she doesn't appear in more fic, esp. with the fandom embracing so many AU prompts as of late. I'm sort of pushing for a "women in war fandom" fic fest. (The Pacific has quite a few lovely gals who actually get screen time, so I think it's a viable option).
I probably missed the one shot b/c I am SO BEHIND in fic reading. I will def. put on my list of "FIC TO CATCH UP ON" which I'm planning to do tomorrow.
Already left a comment on the DW version of this post, but I just wanted to nip in here to add in my hearty support for a Women Of War Fandom ficathon.
The only problem is, I don't know how I'd be able to decide between Kitty, Renee, Lena and Stella. (And this is presuming we're only doing BoB and the Pacific - if it's anything war-related, then jeez, then I have Margaret Houlihan and Betty O'Neill to deal with as well.)
I think Women of War Fandom would be a GREAT thing just b/c there's not a lot of fic/mixes/posts out there for them. (And who says you have to decide. A series of background character ficlets? An AU where they all know each other etc etc etc.)
(I was thinking BoB and the Pacific but now I want Houlihan and Betty O'Neill in it as well.)
Again, something to ponder and think about for the year.
