Random post time
So in awesome news by people who are not me, dancinbutterfly met Damian Lewis. She tells me it was awesome and pretty much told her friend "oh my god, I have to tell Shannon!" I adore that girl. Also, Damian has a magic green velvet jacket that I covet greatly. Goes lovely with his hair. I love moments of random awesome, even when they happen to other people.
I have a couple more weeks of Lent and still have not broken it. I think I'll be able to make it to Easter Sunday and it would be awesome to get through Lent without screwing up for the first time in years.
It's been weeks, but I cannot stop listening to Zac Brown Band's Colder Weather. The lyrics get me, as does the music. And I am not normally down with the Zac Brown Band, but this song has been on non-stop for me.
Loved this week's episodes of Justified and CHAOS, but I need to re-watch both. I just wish CHAOS had a fandom. I want all the team fic in the world.
Mom's birthday is on Monday. We have family coming down this weekend. I honestly hope I get to see my Uncle Bill this time. Every time he's come down from New York, I was either in Boston or Nashville. I miss my Uncle Bill. He never fails to crack me up. Aunt Deb and Cousin Megan are coming too (don't know why Meg's coming, but it's not like there's much to do in Candor) so maybe we can make something fit between the time they have and my work schedule.
Rewatching The Hobbit clip keeps making me pine for a film version of The Fall of Gondolin. I want to see the Gates on film. And the city. And Ecthelion. And Idril. I'll stop now. I am still sort of laughing over "Figwit" finally be cast as Lindir though. It's good to hear they plan on keeping the major Rivendell scenes in the film, esp since my fav Hall of Fire scene was cut out of FotR.
