Fic and music musings
I didn't get much writing done today, outside of planning. I do pretty much have all of songs for the next Hillbilly Jones fanmix set out. It's pretty heavy on songs about love, faith, and death, but hey, that's what some of the best songs are about.
If you've read the Harry and Kitty wedding planning ficlet from the modern-au 'verse, you know that Eddie, in addition to being the Dude of Distinction, is to sing at the wedding. I've been debating over that set list. I need it to be the right mix of heartfelt, cheesy, overly romantic (it's Harry we're talking about), slightly inappropriate to honor my own personal Eddie-Kitty traditions, and a song fit for, you know, a wedding reception.
I have two songs so far. Marc Cohn's "True Companion" and Dolly Parton's "Marry Me" (Little Sparrow version). I am debating on including the Dixie Chick's "White Trash Wedding" for shits and giggles. Anyway, youtube vids of the three

Now back to my file off puzzling out Eddie Jones' actual background and history in the modern-au verse. Along with that one fic with the kittens. It's raining aside. We need warm and fuzzy kitten fic when it's raining outside.
In Carrie News: She had a good night! She's been okay today, so much happier at home. We even got her to take a nap. Still, she does so much better for her mental health when she's on the floor and able to get around. That's her domain, damn it, and she likes her freedom.
